Our boys lined up on their last game, which was also family night.

As the boys volleyball season has come to an end, there are many great highlights from this season. On April 5 the team attended the first day of the Chatsworth Tournament. They went 3-0 on the first day. On the second day they placed 3rd out of a total of 40 teams.

On April 12 they attended the Crescenta Valley Tournament and went 3-0 on the first day, and ended as finalists. On their last match, which was family appreciation night against Camarillo on April 17, our team won. This secured their second place spot in Coastal Canyon League for CIF. Also, the JV team went undefeated and did not even lose a single set in league.

On April 25 they went to Santa Margarita High School for their first round of CIF playoffs. They played a tough match and unfortunately did not come out on top. Their record is 11-2 for league. Head Coach Dean Borth said, “It’s been a great season full of memories and fantastic volleyball.” This year there were seven seniors. The team wishes their seniors well, but are also ready to keep their legacy alive. Junior Michael Stevens said, “It was very satisfying watching them play from the stands, they are a very well rounded team and definitely represent Royal well.”
