Current ‘Culinary Arts’ reserved parking space, similar to a new senior reserved parking spots.

As of late, senior student parking has been an announced as an option for students, with around 50 students signing up for it as of now.

This has been talked about and planned since 2021 in the leadership class.  “We had a good response to the interest form.  Over 50 people interested,” said Assistant Principal of Activities and Athletics Ms. Myszkowski, noting how many students have signed up since it was first announced.  This was all also helped and thought of by leadership and ASB, and it costs $80, using cash or credit, with first come first served to choose where they want to have their parking spot.  Not only do students benefit, but the money will also go to a fundraiser, which will be able to help with improvements.

The teacher of the leadership class Mr. Daniel Maye, who wants to help students, said, “Give our seniors a place to express themselves and have a priority in the parking lot as well as more student/school involvement.”  The reason for executing such an idea was to help raise student spirit, as well as to help add funds to ASB, and it all originally came from ASB as well.  Besides 2021, this was also discussed last year, and other schools were looked towards for the idea. Maye himself has hopes that it will be fun and that it will be a good adventure to see the results.
