Last game of the season

Football season is officially over, at least for this school year. The last football game was held on Friday, October 28, in the Royal stadium against Oak Park High School.

The evening started off by announcing and giving thanks to all the seniors athletes, cheerleaders, and sports medicine aids. It was also teacher appreciation night. The theme was blackout, and of course students went all out by wearing black and other accessories like hats, glasses, body paint, pom-poms, etc…

A couple of the special things the student section did to make the evening more fun is throwing the baby powder at halftime. Also, seniors Kevin Bautista and Meelad Zarrabi became part of the cheer squad by doing a dance with the cheerleaders. Even though our team didn’t win, it was still a fun evening.
