The Drama Club is a very special place to those involved in it. Club Rush has come and gone and hopefully, everyone made sure to not pass on the opportunity to discover what the school has to offer. This event took place at lunch on September 4 and 5, during which the Drama Club advertised their group. Daphne Shrater, a sophomore member of the Drama Club, informed us of her favorite thing about being in it. Shrater said, “I love the craft of acting. You make a lot of friends, and interact with people you wouldn’t have interacted with normally.” Many students were seen signing up, so hopefully this statement continues this year.
Another member of the Drama Club, Anthony Carrillo, shares the sentiment. He said, “My favorite part of Drama Club is the people and being able to work in a group that has the same interests as me.” The Drama Club seems like a fantastic place to meet new people and new friends. There seem to be some amazing people in it, so make sure to consider it when thinking about what clubs you want to try out this year.
