Dear Class of 2025
We have grown so much since we learned to walk, not just in knowledge, but in who we are. We have faced the hardest and most unpredictable challenges, from masked up freshman years, to personal losses, to moments where it felt like everything was just too much. And yet we’re still here.
Today is more than just a ceremony. Its proof that we endured. That we kept going when things were tough. That we lifted each other up when someone stumbled. That we found laughter in the chaos. It is a testament to our strength, not just as individuals, but as a class.
Behind every graduate today is a story. Some filled with triumph, and some with tears. Some of us have been waiting for this day with excitement, while for some it didnt really hit until now, because we are saying our goodbyes to a place that has held us through some of the most memorable years of our lives.
Our class motto says, “The only impossible journey is the one you never begin.” And we began. We began when we showed up to that first 8:30 a.m. class running on caffeine and hope. We began when we joined clubs, ran races, performed on stage, or spoke up in class. We began when we failed and tried again, when we found our people, when we started becoming the people we’re meant to be.
Thank you for the late night texts, the shared snacks, the hallway smiles, and the moments where we simply reminded each other that we weren’t alone.
Today is not only a finish line… but a new beginning. Some of us know exactly what comes next and some of us are terrified. And that’s okay. Life does not come with a map but it does come with the ability to choose, to grow, and to change.
So whether you’re headed to college, the military, trade school, a job, or just taking time to figure it all out, know this. You are not behind. You are not lost. You are simply becoming.
As we stand on the edge of everything we’ve ever known and look out at everything we’ve yet to experience, let us hold on to what made us who we are. Let us keep the laughter, the lessons, and the love we found here in our hearts.
We may be walking in different directions after today, but the memories we made… they will stay with us forever. And no matter where life takes us, we will always be part of something bigger than ourselves, something we built together.
Class of 2025… we did it. We grew up together. We cried, laughed, failed, succeeded and now, we begin again.
Congratulations.Â
I am so proud of every one of you.
Love, Senior Emily Montalvo
