On April 25, a car show took place at The Kingdom. It was a nice morning for the Simi Valley community to show off their cars. The car show that had many people excited took place at 1402 Royal Ave, at the gym/stadium parking lot, and it started at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 2:00 p.m. Many different students and people showed to up to see cars that they love and to show off their own cars.
There were many oldies and many different colors of cars availabe. The cars were all clean and nice, making them look very fancy to show off. People had chairs set up and were watching how different old cars and new cars would come to show. Some of the more newer cars, like Lamborghini or Mustangs, had their doors up and open so people were able to see inside. Junior Diego Diaz loves to look at cars and their engines and he loves to learn about cars. Diaz claimed, “Learning about cars is one of the best things because I know when I’m older I want to have cars with amazing engines, and I want to be able to teach different people about cars just like I learn.” Ever since he has been a kid he had loved cars and always found them amazing and interesting.
Sophomore Melissa Campos had grown up around unique cars attended and saw many special cars. She loves talking to different people about their cars and what they do to make their cars run. Campos said, “I loved how different engines work and the different sounds the cars are able to make while speeding or just turning on in general.” It was amazing to many of the students and her because they didn’t have to go so far to go look at beautiful cars and talking about it with different people that have the same interest is amazing to them.
