On Tuesday, February 11, Big Lil Siblings Club hosted an early Valentines Day celebration during lunch with a fun rotation of activities and snacks. This club meeting took place in Mrs. Malone’s room the very second lunch began. Upon entering, students were given the option to enjoy Valentines themed cookies and to take a seat at a station with an activity. Every seven minutes, there would be a rotation, so every student experienced the fun of every activity. The three activities consisted of an engaging Tic-Tac-Toe game, a matching game, and a station to create Valentines for loved ones with candies provided. The entire room bonded together for this fun meeting set up by the lovely co-presidents, juniors Mary Quezada and Ivy Roessell.
As the activities took place, the entire room buzzed with joy and excitement for the festivities that were to come. Junior Layla Salinas said, “The matching game was my favorite activity because I am really competitive.” Junior Payton MacCuish shared, “These activities were such an enjoyable experience and really set the tune for the upcoming Valentine’s Day,” This all goes to show that Big Lil Siblings did a great job with their initiative in uniting each grade level, and really set a positive atmosphere for the awaited Valentines Day.
