This year’s Winter Formal, themed “A Night in New York” was a magical evening filled with music, dancing, and unforgettable memories. It was held at the Majestic Ventura Theater from 7-10 p.m., on February 1. Students arrived in their finest attire (suits for the guys and long dresses for the girls) ready to celebrate in style.
The night began with an incredible live performance by our very own student band Chase The Morning, setting the perfect tone for the evening. A DJ kept the energy high, playing crowd favorites and keeping everyone on the dance floor.
One of the night’s biggest highlights was the Winter Formal Court election. Our court for underclassmen freshman Tyler Hyrnyk, Aand delyn Markand, sophomore Bailey Bucher, juniors Kaled Furman, Contessa Cunningham, Anaiah Hoskins, and seniors Aidan Arredondo, Addison Burton, Sydney Crets, Ryan Henderson, Rebecca Ressell, and Karen Truong. Upper, and lowerclassmen voted for their favorites, and halfway through the danc,e the winners were announced. Each winner had the chance to select a crown or tiara for their special moment. Some of this year’s winners included senior Karen Truong, junior Contessa Cunningham, senior Sydney Crets, and senior Ryan Henderson.
Adding to the vibrant New York inspired atmosphere, a screen projector showcased a stunning slideshow featuring photos of seniors and senior gatherings, edited in a stylish New York theme.
Of course, no event is complete without some yummy treats!!! The dessert table offered brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and mini cupcakes. Meanwhile, the drink bar kept students refreshed with sodas.
With music, dancing, and an incredible New York City vibe, Winter Formal 2025 truly was an amazing night.
