It was a nice warm afternoon on November 21, from 3:30-5:15 p.m., when a freshman boys pre-season soccer team game took place. It was Fillmore Frosh teams going up against the Royal Frosh team. It was a fun school game on home turf. There were high hopes for both teams and there were very good players on each team.
The soccer game had some difficult challenges.. During the game, some players were not too happy sometimes because they thought the referee was being unfair. One of our players named Allan Perez, freshman, said, “Even though it wasn’t fair it’s okay we got through it.” Many players including him were not too happy with the calls, but they stayed positive no matter what. Junior David Castro tried his best during the game and said, “I love this team, and the team effort is something I love.” All the players are very supportive and try their best.
The score of the game ended 4-0. where Fillmore took the win. Even though Royal, they knew they could get better and beat them in another game.
