Seniors Mia Jimenez, Alpha Leyva, and Amy Estrada with juniors Cynthia Jimenez and Daniela Valdovinos, are spreading holiday cheer with their “Angels of Christmas” Toy Drive, aiming to spread joy to children aged 1-13. Running through December 10, this initiative encourages the community to donate new toys to make the season brighter for kids in need. Donations can be dropped off at the main office, ASB, or library during school hours. Join the effort and help celebrate the spirit of giving this holiday season.
They partnered with Toys for Tots and foster homes, Raising Hope and Loving Hands Children’s Home. Jimenez said, “The main purpose of our toy drive is to bring something special to children in need and spread holiday joy by ensuring that these children have toys to celebrate and enjoy during this holiday season.”
Their main goal is to be able to collect at least 150 toys but they’d appreciate any and all donations. In December, they will sort and distribute all donations by age, making sure that itis appropriate for their ages. They plan to distribute the toys to Raising Toys on December 8.
