On Monday, October 28, there were tables and car trunks set up all across the parking lot with different activities for students and families to take part in. Trunk or Treat takes place annually in the East Parking Lot. There was an interactive photo booth you could take pictures at for free, as well as various food trucks. To take part in the activities, families bought tickets and cashed them in during different activities in trunks or booths set up by the clubs.
When families arrived, they were able to go from trunk to trunk, getting candy and taking part in all the different activities and engaging games for prizes. When asked what she thought about the event, Highlander parent, Alejandra Maldonado said, “It was a great event for kids and I enjoyed bringing my daughter. She had a blast walking around getting candy.”
Senior Brian Nguyen shared, “It was fun setting up the table and cup pong game for students’ families to take part in. We were able to raise money for the club so that was great as well.” This event is a great event that helps clubs and organizations raise money, as every ticket cashed in was worth 50 cents. It was a fun event for all the parents and students who attended, especially for the younger crowd who arrived in incredible costumes.
