At lunch on the side of the 8 building, during Club Rush on September 5, AFJROTC had their own table manned by sophomores Nicola Fiorenzani and Brianna Guttman presenting all the activities AFJROTC does. They had students flipping rifles, showing off their talented skills. There were posters showing all of their teams and clubs like the Armed Drill Team, Un-Armed Drill Team, Archery and future events that they will participate in. Some of the upcoming events that AFJROTC is going to do are Colorguard presentations during football games, as well as Military Appreciation Night.
They are motivating people to join AFJROTC because they have endless opportunities for leadership, as well as clubs they have that can teach you new stuff, and ways to participate in community service. One of the cadets from AFJROTC junior Jacob Terry said that AFJROTC, “Develops citizens of character” and with that cadets being involved in community service, “We serve our community with patriotism.”
