A new year brings new staff. Ms. Elizabeth Boucher is a welcome addition to our school as a new counselor for the students here. She works with kids whose last names start with Ho – Mar. When asked what her favorite thing about her job was, Boucher said, “Working with students directly, one on one. It’s exciting to watch them grow from a freshman to a senior and see how much growth there is.”
Before her current job as a counselor, she was a 1st grade teacher at another school. After that, she was a counselor for a few years before switching to work here. She clearly loves to work with students based on her previous job experience.
Her colleagues enjoy her company, as well, which shows that she will be a great new member of the staff. Counseling Secretary, Ms. Diane Schwartz, was asked what it was like working with her and she said, “It is amazing. She’s a very kind and empathetic counselor.” It is clear that Boucher will be fantastic at her job and help all kinds of students.
