Students who are residents or regular visitors of Thousand Oaks may have seen a pizza restaurant called the Slice House. Those who have eaten at the establishment will be delighted to hear that as of April 15, Simi Valley attained its own Slice House on the northeast block of Tapo Canyon Plaza. And although Simi has never been dry on pizza suppliers, Slice House has very high potential to knock the other competition out of the park.
Senior Jakob Jarrin said, “I had a Detroit style cheese pizza and it was unlike any pizza I’ve had before. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.”
If you’ve never known what the word ‘plethora’ means, it can be best understood as the options that Slice House offers you. Upon first glance at the menu, the choices are nigh countless. Every city with a signature style pizza has a place on the menu; San Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, New York, etc… Even beyond pizza, the Slice House offers subs, pasta, desserts, multiple vegan options, and other Italian specialties.
“You can tell everyone loves it already even though it’s only been open for like two weeks. I work at the Coldstone right next to it and I literally have never seen it not packed with people.” said senior De’Anna Belle Brewer.
