This year’s Trunk or Trunk event was held at Royal in the east parking from 5-8 p.m. on October 30. It was filled with super awesome ideas, many kids came and ran around enjoying the fun games and props, while other family members were talking and meeting new people. Our Simi Valley Police Swat Team brought an armored vehicle where you could explore around the inside and take pictures. There was also a Kona Ice truck that seemed very popular that night, along with a few other food trucks. Many students decorated and designed their trunk and gave out treats. There were many young kids in cool and colorful costumes, having fun and making new memories. Marvel super heroes seemed like the most common costumes, with many princesses. Junior Adrian Mendex said, “I had a ton of fun and didn’t expect it to be this good.” Another junior, Blake Spitz said, “I took my little brother, and he loved the armored vehicle.” Many younger kids were happy to be able to wear their fun costumes two nights in a row.
