Girls volley ball played against Simi Valley High School on September 26 at home and took home the victory. Girls volleyball gets very excited about the cross town rivalry, head coach Kristine Connolly said, “The rivalry is fun, some of the girls are friends, and it’s exciting for them to play against each other.”
They won 3 sets in a row with the first 25-20, second 25-18, and third 25-9. By the last set Simi Valley High School lost their energy while we stayed strong. Our home side was filled with supportive family and students.
Senior Samuel Perez said, “Our student sections never fail to show out for every sport, especially against our rival school.” Many students and family showed up wearing green cheering the players on as they played. We hope to make many more victories in the future and show Simi Valley High School who is the best.
