On Wednesday, August 28, at 4:00 p.m. our girl’s volleyball team faced off against Agoura High School. Though JV and Varsity played great games, unfortunately both lost against Agoura, with scores of 2-3.
At the JV game it was exciting to see actor, singer, comedian, and Academy Award winner Jamie Fox. Fox was there to support his daughter, who was playing on the Agoura JV team. He took off right after the game ended after taking photos with students, parents, and the cheer team. JV volleyball player Bre Bauer said, “I saw him in the stands and when we finished our game I bolted to get a photo with him, he’s one of my favorite actors.”
Everyone was shocked to see him there. One student May Sarah said, “I saw one of my friends post a photo that she took with him on her story and I immediately ran from my house to the school gym, but by the time I had gotten there he had already left. I was so upset. I’ll never be able to get over that.” Nonetheless, everyone had fun and a memorable night at the girl’s volleyball game.
