This past few weeks, there have been multiple classrooms that have had to be remodeled. Due to this, there are teachers that have had to temporarily move and teach in different classrooms.
For example, US History and APUSH teacher Mr. Ham has had to move from room 6-10 to portable V-8 at the back of the school. “It’s where the PE kids are, so all while we are in class we’re hearing running and whistles and kids getting in trouble. So my opinion is that these classes shouldn’t be held at the back of the school,” said Junior Becca Evans, concerning a reason as to why to not meet at the back of the school.
There were many classrooms available to move to, including the old choir room, the old band room and rooms in the 11 building. The problem with meeting at the back of the school is the distance from the rest of the classrooms. This makes it difficult for students to make it to their classes on time. “The class is out of the way and it makes me late to my next class,” Evans said about the classroom location.
