Junior Crichton Ae became the new starting quarterback here after Evan Naggy graduated last year from high school.
Former quarterback Evan Nagy led the team in his final season to a 4-6 record barely missing the playoffs. Senior Jonah Krause, who played with Nagy said, “Nagy was a great leader on the team. What most do not know about him is he had over a 4.0 GPA in high school.” Nagy is now a Freshman at Cal Lutheran College and is playing Wide Receiver.
Ae, the new starting quarterback, is 6 ‘1’’ 185 pounds and is great at running the ball. He is not the type that will beat you with speed but he will beat you with his strength and his ability to run over you. Ae played his first varsity football game Friday, August 18, in a shocking loss to the tough Birmingham High School 60-0. The offense was held scoreless. However, the fans in the stands were very supportive of our team. Ae said, “I am past Birmingham and focused on the next game which is Castaic.”
