Evening of Excellence
On Thursday, February 2 from 6-8 p.m., the Evening of Excellence was held to showcase the different pathways, classes, and clubs our school offers. Many parents and students of current and incoming 9th graders attending this special night.
Several clubs set up booths in the new quad between the ASB office and the gym to promote their organizations to incoming freshmen. Honorable clubs such as the National Honors Society, ASB, Leadership, and Math Honors Society had booths run by club presidents. Alongside this, other clubs like the fashion club, key club, South Asian cultural club, and the PTSA had booths.
Inside the various hallways and buildings of the school, teachers set up to showcase the different programs they provide. The library showcased the many pathways available to students which included: building and construction, digital and video arts, culinary arts, law enforcement, education, JROTC, and patient care.
As a treat for the guests, there was a taco truck, and ice cream for purchase.
Each sport had a booth in the gym, and at 7 p.m. students and families crowded the gym to honor the seniors who signed their recruitment papers to their respective universities.
