On Tuesday, December 17, our Highland Harmonics singers filled the school with festive spirit as they visited classrooms during 3rd and 4th periods to perform holiday classics. Their songs included classics such as “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Silver Bells,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.”
The group aimed to spread Christmas cheer throughout the school and succeeded. Senior student Christopher Garland shared, “I really enjoyed the singing it truly made my day. My friend and I couldn’t help but dance, we were even slow dancing to the music!”
Senior singer Eliot Lorenzo expressed joy in the experience, said, “I loved that we had the chance to visit our friends classrooms and sing to them. It was like our own mini concert.”
Adding to the festive atmosphere, choir teacher Mr. Davis accompanied the singers on his guitar, making the performances even more special. The Highland Harmonics proved that music has the power to bring people together and spread holiday joy.
