Students had spirit week from September 23-27, leading up to the highly anticipated Homecoming dance. This year we started the week on Monday by students wearing a white tee and having a white lie on it. The second day, it was twin day, we saw students dressing up together as twins.
On Wednesday, Royal wore pink! We saw students covered in pink shirts, jeans, shoes and some students brought pink glitter, paint and hair spray to celebrate the spirit week! We saw many of the teachers participating in the day along with the students, wearing pink shirts or shoes. Thursday was “Diamonds are Forever” day where students wore glitter and metallics.
The whole week students celebrated spirit week and had fun dressing up. We even saw teachers participating, wearing white lie t-shirts on Monday, and pink on Wednesday. Senior and Homecoming Royalty Nominee, Reese Barnard said, “I liked dressing up for all days but was a bit confused on metallic day.” Friday was color block day where freshman wore gold/yellow, sophomores wore green, juniors wore white and seniors wore black.
