Over the past couple of weeks girls water polo has been doing really well and working very hard.Over winter break the girls had a couple of games. They played great and are ready for  the rest of the season.”This season so far has been really fun and interesting,”said player Lauryn Thomas. The coaches Olivia Barry and Monica Rodriguez have been working hard with the girls during practice and getting them ready for the rest of their games this season and are hoping to do really well. They practice every week for at least one hour. They have three games left, if you haven’t been able attend any of their game so far this season this is a great opportunity to cheer them on and show school spirit. Two of the three that are left are at home and the other is away. Lauryn Thomas said “she appreciates when people come to the games and support the sport, it is very interesting and a high contact sport and it’s fun to watch.” They play their home games at the Rancho Simi Pool on Royal Avenue, right down the street from our school. If you are interested in joining water polo tryouts will be held in August, water polo is a great way to meet new people and be involved in a school sport and school activities.
