Nothing can beat running by the sea.

Our cross country team is constantly practicing and finding ways to get better with everything that they do. Being on the cross country team takes a lot of practice, as well as motivation. Junior Kylie D. said, “Seven days without running makes one weak and may the course be with you.”

Both the boys and girls team have had such an amazing start to the season. Senior Aya F. said, “Cross country is a sport where you can really bond with your teammates and have a good time with them. It’s a lot of work and effort needed but your teammates will push you to be the best.”

Most races consist of a three mile course, either on dirt and/or grass.  The girl’s cross country team is starting off strong this year.  They are still continuing to practice every single day, regardless of how tired they may be. This past weekend cross country competed at the Ventura County Championships at Lake Casitas.
