Junior, Bryce Herrera, motivates a kid in pitch-a-pumpkin.

Once a year our baseball team volunteers at Underwood Family Farms. They sponsors the Highlander’s baseball team for each hour that they work. Each player works a certain activity for five hours. These activities include certain games that provide little kids with the fun that they deserve. Some of the games include pumpkin pitch, coconut pitch, ring a pumpkin, and many more.

Bryce H. a varsity baseball player said, “I love working at this farm, it makes me feel great when I am able to put a smile on a little kid’s face.” Each player has to be well mannered so all the families can have a perfect day.

Riley F. stated that, “Working at this farm makes me feel great because I am able to give back to my community.” Volunteering is a perfect way to give players a sense of work experience. It also teaches the players to be well mannered and to treat others with kindness.

Underwood Farms has been a proud supporter of the Royal Highlander Baseball Team for many years and it has helped out the program immensely.
