Wednesday, January 17 was the girls’ water polo team’s first home game against Calabasas High School. Royal’s Varsity started off the games, winning with 18-3. Leading another winning streak, Royal’s Junior Varsity played very well wining an amazing 26-0 shutout. The water polo Junior Varsity head coach said, “The league opener is always a good test to see where you stand as a team. We are standing strong and looking to win a 5th straight league title at all three levels.” To end an amazing first home game, the Frosh team won 20-3 which completed a great winning streak for Royal. One of the team members for the Frosh team, freshman B. Parks, said, “We did an amazing job and it was very exciting for our first home game.” Another member of the Frosh team, freshman H. Roderick, said “The game was a great league opener and I look forward to playing our next home game.”
