On Tuesday April 18, Royal’s Interact Club hosted a Charity Ball Soccer Game to raise money for Charity Ball, which is a nonprofit organization that provides new quality soccer balls to children in poverty-stricken communities around the world.

This soccer game was an exhibition match consisting of the boys and girls varsity soccer games, where girls and boys varsity soccer teams mixed together to create two new teams. It was $7 to get into the event, and the Interact Club had a bake sale set up with a variety of yummy baked goods. All of the proceeds are to go towards the Charity Ball organization, and they raised an overall amount of $815.16 from the event. Way to go Interact Club for organizing and executing the event, and big thanks to both varsity teams for coming out and playing for such a great cause.
