Couches or chairs in class?

Students should have the right to be able to choose chairs or couches for their learning environment at school. What would you choose for yourself this year?

It is shown that inadequate chairs can greatly affect the learning levels of concentration. Finding the right school furniture for students can affect the students positively. Getting the right furniture for the students can help contribute to comfort, posture, and support for a student learning environment.

“Couches are better, sitting in a solid hard chair for eight hours is uncomfortable,” said junior Nadia Mederos.

Although some students might prefer couches, some students prefer chairs. Chairs help students who move around a lot sit still and prevent them from fidgeting. Chairs make the classrooms look more professional, take up less space and it’s less expensive to provide.

“Chairs help me stay still and focus better,” said junior Gabby Torres.

Therefore everyone should have a right to choose!
